$19.90/hr + tips
Hours:
Part-time (20-30 hours/week)
Schedule:
Flexible; open availability Mon
  • Sun 3p
  • 11:30p (must be able to work weekends)

Position:
The VALET Lead oversees the Valet operation, under the direction of the location Manager to ensure the staff create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients. Valet Lead will support the operation policies and procedures.
Principal Job Duties:
Ensures staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies and procedures. Supervises, mentors, and trains staff on day-to-day activities. Assists in establishing performance standards, recommending, and implementing changes to procedures when necessary. Serves as a liaison and primary point of contact for client, operation management and staff. Promote good customer relations by consistently providing First Class Customer Service with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times. Greets and Assist customers in a friendly manner (e.g., ideally by name) in a timely and professional manner Resolve customer service issues or questions as needed; processes and report any customer issues in the event of accidents or incidents on a shift. Responsible for running any reports related to daily revenue, credit cards, garage data or other reports requested by management. Provides operational technical training as needed. Greet by/use name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base. Accept monthly and debit payments and process credit cards. Basic computer skills in the parking revenue control system (add/delete accounts, key in required information from monthly applications). Other related duties as assigned. Other related duties that may be assigned by management from time-to-time. The Valet Lead will be expected to work varying hours including weekends, evenings, nights, Holidays and special events, etc. as needed.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to produce and maintain an acceptable driving record and unrestricted drivers' license.
Experience:
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Parking operations and/or parking industry experience.
Skills:
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to develop a positive rapport with patrons and customers.
  • Ability to understand and implement operational plans and procedures
  • Ability to develop a positive rapport with patrons and customers.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view
  • Capable of taking direction from company manager responsible for shift or other shift valets/team members as necessary to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Capable of working alone on a shift or with one or more other valets.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
  • Demonstrates the ability to seek improvement.
  • Ability to drive a standard transmission, as well as general knowledge of how to operate various types of motor vehicles.
Physical Demands:
  • Willingness to work in the elements
  • heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
