Our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction drives our operations. Summary We are seeking a Valet Parking Attendant to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for valet parking vehicles, providing excellent guest services, and ensuring a smooth parking experience for our clients. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding service.
Duties include the following:
Working in inclement weather conditions. Recording information on numbered tags, placing numbered tag on windshield of an automobile to be parked and handing the customer a similar tag to be used later in locating the parked automobile. Recording time and driving automobiles to the parking space or pointing out the parking space for customer's use. Taking numbered tags from customers, locating vehicles, and delivering vehicles, or providing customers with instructions for locating their vehicles. Keeping the parking area(s) in a broom clean environment. Directing motorists to parking area or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary. Patrolling parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts. Greet customers and opening their vehicle's doors. Lifting, positioning, and removing barricades to open or close parking areas. Inspecting vehicles to detect any damage. Driving automatic as well as manual transmission automobiles. Observing all laws, regulations and safety rules involving operating a motor vehicle. Responsibilities Valet parking vehicles in and out of the parking facility. Provide exceptional guest services by assisting customers with their parking needs. Ensure the safety and security of parked vehicles. Communicate effectively with guests and team members to enhance the customer experience. Assist with valet parking operations as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area. Requirements Minimum of 2 years in valet parking experience (3 years preferred). Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers. Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including manual transmission. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required. Able to lift up to 30 pounds. Assist guests with luggage or other items as needed. Must be available on call and to work overtime when necessary. Must be available to work all shifts as needed. Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and all levels of supervision. Represent well in all contacts and works as a team member. Always maintains cultural sensitivity. Concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions.
