Parking Attendant Paradise parking LLC | San Jose San Jose, CA Job Details Part-time $20 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Confidential information handling Serving clients Outdoor work English Valet driving Clean workspace maintenance Vehicle parking operations Full Job Description We are looking for part-time parking attendants during SAP Center events.
Basic Parking Attendant Job Duties Include:
Drive guest vehicles from motor court to designated parking area of garage for valet parking and return the guest vehicle to motor court for guest pick-up when needed. Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and carefully assist with luggage. Inform guests of all safety features and, if time permits, promote hotel outlets. Store guest baggage upon request and assist with the loading and unloading of baggage into and out of automobiles. During each guest interaction, Provide "High Five Star Service" Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and can explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities: Provide service that makes people feel respected and welcome. We want to please guests and if it means going out of their way and doing something extra, we deliver their request and the guest won't know if it's an imposition. Arrive at each shift on time and maintain a professional, pleasant, confident and well-groomed manner. Provide service requires a high attention to detail and an effort on the part of the staff to understand the individual being served and to specifically tailor the service so that he or she feels completely at ease. With each interaction with guests provide service that is more than gracious, always smiles, provides flawless service and is willing to go more than all out to please clients, anticipates their needs and exceed their expectations. Maintain a positive attitude in extreme weather conditions of cold or very hot temperatures. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Willing to take ownership and apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but standard written or oral instructions. Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; able to deal with change, delays or unexpected events.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires good verbal communication skills. Must be able to speak and understand English. Professional appearance Most work tasks are performed outdoors. There is no effective protection from the weather. Must be able to stand or drive and exert well-paced mobility for an entire shift. Requires hearing ability and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees. Maintain cleanliness. Must be able to excel in a fast paced and stressful environment Must be able to guide vehicles into the stalls. Must be able to take responsibility of the parked cars in company possession.
