The shift is Fridays through Sundays, from 8pm-6am . Essential Duties & Responsibilities for
Parking Attendants:
Patrol area to prevent thefts from parked automobiles. Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized. Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary. Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts. Greet customers arriving at the property. Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas. Observes all laws, regulations and safety rules involving operating a motor vehicle. Must be available on call and to work overtime when necessary. Must be available to work all shifts as needed. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and all levels of supervision. Represent well in all contacts. Works as a team member. Always maintains cultural sensitivity. Must be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions. Other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisors. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements for
Parking Attendants:
Qualified individual must be able to regularly pull, push, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Some positions are regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger and be able to effectively receive and respond to operational communications in a timely manner, with or without reasonable accommodation.. The following may also be required: Ability to work in outside weather conditions. Ability to work in smoking environment. Please read through all the employment requirements below. Additional requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States Must agree to a criminal background investigation, and possibly a credit bureau and reference verification Must be willing to submit to drug screening and possibly a medical examination Must be at least 18 years old Must follow all company rules and regulations Must always be well groomed, neat, and in company dress code/uniform whenever reporting to work
