Full Job Description What You'll Do:
Do you like meeting a variety of people from different backgrounds? Do you like helping others? The Door Person is the perfect entry-level gig where you can do exactly that. Situated at the hotel's front door, you'll often be guests' first impression of hotel service and responsible for making them feel happy, welcome as well as securing the safety of their car and belongs. Here are some of the tasks you'll be doing on a daily basis: Greet guests courteously and with a smile. Park guest vehicles and retrieve valet-parked guest vehicles in a timely and courteous manner. Read luggage tags and provide claim tickets to ensure appropriate delivery. Move guest luggage as needed.
Where You've Been:
The Valet is a people-centric job, as you may imagine. We're looking for someone who professional, can communicate clearly, has an attention to detail, and loves working with others. A sense of humor can't hurt either!
When You're Here:
This probably goes without saying but you'll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 75 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and more. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays. But wait, there's a great upside: in exchange for your flexibility, we offer excellent pay, hotel discounts, F&B discounts and the opportunity to be part of an anything-but-standard growing hotel company.
