Job Description

Job Summary The role of a Beverage Cart Attendant is to enhance the experience of golf guests and members by delivering refreshments, snack items, and exceptional customer service throughout the golf course. The attendant ensures timely service, maintains the cleanliness and organization of the cart, and anticipates guest needs to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience. Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions Clean and prepare the cart for daily service Stock the cart with the needed products for service Confirm the cart is fully operational before starting rounds, such as gas, air in tires, oil etc. Greet and acknowledge guests courteously Serve guests and members kindly and professionally Maintain knowledge of beverage prices and food items to be able to communicate accurately with customers Operate POS systems throughout service Appropriately handle money and card payments according to company standards Break down and clean the cart thoroughly at end of day All other duties as assigned Education and Experience Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs Ability to read write and speak, and communicate in basic English preferred CPR Training (can obtain after employment)
Previous serving experience preferred but not mandatory Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Detail-oriented and thorough Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests Basic knowledge of spirit and alcohol service Basic knowledge of proper golf course etiquette Ability to operate a golfcart safely and properly Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way Physical Demands Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Working Conditions Predominantly outdoors Exposure to the elements, including but not limited to, sun, wind, rain, and humidity Exposure to extreme heat or cold depending on the season Walking or driving golf cards on uneven terrain, hills, and course obstacles Exposure to cleaning chemicals (proper PPE provided) The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not an exclusive list of all duties and responsibilities.
