Job Description

McGrath Family of Dealerships is seeking a Lot Attendant to join our Marion VW team! For the last 70 years, our team has worked relentlessly to establish McGrath as the #1 trusted name in automotive sales and service in Eastern Iowa. Our Lot Attendants are pivotal to the success of our business. They are in charge of making sure that our lot and buildings are in perfect shape for our customers. This is a perfect position to start within our organization to get your foot in the door and get the tools you need to develop yourself and grow within our company.
Requirements:
Maintains new- and used-vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary. Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles. Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards. Cleans driveway and sidewalks - including snow removal when needed. Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed. Makes key tags for vehicles. Helps with set up of any events or community based activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to follow directions and execute efficiently. Motivated and willing to work with little direction. Takes initiative to do what needs to be done. Positive attitude. Team player. Clean driving record.
