Overview Fort Wayne Country Club is seeking a dependable, professional, service-oriented individual to join our Golf Operations team as a Full-Time Outside Operations Staff Member. This role is integral to delivering a first-class golf experience for our Members and Guests. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to providing exceptional service to Members and their Guests. Experience Required Prior customer service or golf operations experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Positive attitude with a commitment to excellence Essential Responsibilities Provide professional, courteous service to Members and Guests Anticipate Member needs and proactively deliver a high level of service Manage daily outside operations including cart staging, golf bag handling, and driving range setup Ensure all service areas are clean, organized, and maintained to club standards Safely operate golf carts and maintain equipment Communicate effectively with the Golf Shop and fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations Present a professional appearance and uphold club standards at all times Ability to lift and carry 25-35 lbs regularly (golf bags) Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods of time Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Availability to work weekends and holidays Benefits Competitive hourly wage plus gratuities Complimentary meals while on duty Golf privileges (based on availability and approval) Uniform provided Health benefits available per club policy (after eligibility period)
