Personal Service Attendant Arme Strong Personal Homecare LLC Indianapolis, IN Job Details Part-time | Full-time $23,000 - $28,000 a year 9 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification BLS Certification Assisting with ADLs Driver's License Meal preparation Meal assistance Full Job Description The Personal Service Attendant at Arme Strong Personal Home Care LLC will provide non-medical hands on care to clients for their functional needs with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) in the client's home.
Minimum Qualifications:
Be at least (18) years of age. Be competent to provide services according to the client's individual service plan. Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate. Submit a copy of a negative TB test or negative chest x-ray that is completed annually. Possess a current, valid state issued driver's license if the employee will be transporting clients. Provide proof of insurance on the vehicle that will be used to transport clients.
CPR Certified Background Check TB Test Personal Service Attendant Responsibilities:
Provides assistance with personal care, which includes: Bathing, oral hygiene, hair care including clipping of hair, shaving, hand and foot care, intact skin care, application of cosmetics, dressing etc. Provides assistance with mobility, which includes: Proper body mechanics, transfers, ambulation and use of assistive devices. Provides assistance with nutrition, which includes: Meal planning, meal preparation and clean up. Provides assistance with safety, which includes: Use of the principles of health and safety in relation to self and individual, practicing health protection and cleanliness by appropriate techniques of hand washing, waste disposal and household tasks, reminding the client to self-administer medication, providing assistance with correspondence and bill paying. Transportation of clients to non-medical community activities Complete electronic visit visitation (EVV) daily including: Complete date and time of services (in and out), specific services/tasks provided, signature of participant verifying the services was provided by the agency, signature of employee providing services to the client.
