About the
Role:
The Overnight Valet Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of valet services during nighttime hours. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by safely parking and retrieving guests' vehicles with professionalism and care. The role demands vigilance and attention to detail to maintain the security and condition of all vehicles under your supervision. You will be the primary point of contact for guests arriving or departing during overnight shifts, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ultimately, your efforts contribute to a positive guest experience and uphold the reputation of the establishment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate various types of vehicles safely and confidently. Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle vehicle keys and related equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in valet parking or a related customer service role. Familiarity with the local area and traffic patterns to optimize vehicle retrieval times. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Certification in defensive driving or similar safety training. Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure during overnight hours. Safely park and retrieve vehicles in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring no damage occurs. Maintain accurate records of vehicle keys and parking locations to facilitate quick retrieval. Monitor the parking area for security and safety concerns, reporting any incidents or irregularities immediately. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as cleaning the valet area and ensuring equipment is in good working order. Communicate effectively with team members and management to coordinate vehicle flow and guest needs. Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and local traffic laws while operating vehicles.
