Truck Shop Assistant

Pratt Waste & Recycling is looking for a Truck Shop Assistant to join our team in Oxford, MA. Drivers interested in secure, steady employment in a family atmosphere are encouraged to apply.

Rate:

$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 4:00pm, occasional Saturdays after holiday weeks. Why Choose Us? Minimum responsibilities are:

Assist mechanics with basic tasks and general shop duties Perform heavy lifting, moving equipment, and helping position vehicles or parts Run for parts, tools, and materials from suppliers or storage areas Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe Dispose of trash, used parts, and shop materials properly Help load/unload parts and supplies Follow safety procedures and instructions from lead technicians Support any additional tasks needed to keep the shop running smoothly Pressure Wash dumpsters, trucks, and trash carts Repair dumpsters and trash carts What we need from you: Valid Driver's License Clean driving record Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
