Lot Manager/Porter

Job Summary We are looking for a disciplined, energetic, and organized Lot Manager/Porter to oversee the flow and presentation of our vehicle inventory. You will be the primary person responsible for the "first impression" of our dealership, ensuring every vehicle is parked perfectly, clean, and ready for display. This is a fast-paced role that requires a mix of logistics, physical activity, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Inventory Logistics:

Move and rearrange vehicles to maintain an organized and visually appealing lot.

Check-In/Out:

Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify VIN numbers against transport manifests.

Display Management:

Ensure "front-line" vehicles are clean, fueled, and positioned correctly.

Maintenance:

Monitor battery health and tire pressure of inventory; jump-start vehicles or add fuel as needed.

General Support:

Assist the sales with retrieving vehicles for customers.

Lot Safety:

Maintain a clean and safe environment, including clearing debris or snow (if applicable) from the lot.

Qualifications & Skills Driving Record:

A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are mandatory .

Experience:

Previous experience in a dealership, valet, or warehouse environment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Reliability:

You must be punctual and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and enter/exit vehicles frequently.

Communication:
