Commerce, MI 48390 Position Summary The Automotive Lot Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe inventory lot. This role supports the dealership by ensuring vehicles are clean, properly positioned, and ready for sale or service. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Maintain neat and orderly new and used vehicle lots by moving cars as directed by management according to display standards. Clean inventory vehicles inside and out, including trunks and glove compartments. Keep dealership grounds clean and orderly. Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Wear the company-approved uniform consistently. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Work environment noise levels are typically loud. Must frequently bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and handle various tools. Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds. Work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, battery acid, gasoline, chemicals, and exhaust fumes common in automotive settings.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic with a positive and organized approach to tasks. High school diploma or equivalent. No prior retail or automotive experience required.
