Job Description

Scope of Position The Asst. Manager role will support the day-to-day management of the valet operation to ensure the operation is fostering excellent guest experience, good client relations and promoting a professional and courteous image. Additionally, this role will play a key part in creating and implementing a successful staging plan by utilizing all aspects of the location layout to ensure maximum parking capacity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform the Asst. Manager position successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty and responsibility listed below with minimal supervision:
  • Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction
  • Assist in the management of the day-to-day activities of the assigned locations.
  • Supervise shuttle drivers, parkers, cashiers and the monitoring of shuttle bus operations
  • Ensure appropriate customer interaction. Supervise the completion of all closing reports
  • Monitor and implement effective revenue control procedures
  • Perform other necessary functions as assigned. Assist with the daily data entry of the revenue reports
  • Compile and interpret reports on a daily basis for the operation of the facility Position Requirements The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required for an individual to successfully perform the Asst.
Manager position:
  • Speaks clearly; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions
  • Writes clearly and informatively; able to read and interpret written information
  • Have a strong guest orientation and positive attitude. Able to respond to requests for service and assistance in a courteous and professional manner
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events
  • Exhibits sound and accurate judgment Starting Hourly Rate of Pay The starting rate of pay for the Asst.
Manager position is $24.00 hourly. Availability to Work Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required. License Requirement To satisfactorily perform the duties and responsibilities of the Asst. Manager position, the employee must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Asst. Manager position.   • Regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to handle cash and equipment
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Education Requirements To successfully perform duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Manager position, the individual selected for the position must:
  • Possess a high school diploma or a general equivalency diploma Experience and Other Desired Qualifications The individual selected for the Asst.
Manager position must possess:
  • Knowledge of transportation (shuttle operations)
  • DOT regulations (preferred)
  • Union Contracts
  • Payroll (strongly desired)
  • Possess at least one (1) year of supervisory experience (supervisory experience in the transportation industry a plus)
