  • _The pay rate for this job is $13 - $16 / hour
  • _ •What you'll be doing as a Valet Driver /
Parking Attendant:
  • + Greeting all arriving patients and visitors in a courteous, professional, and respectful manner + Providing a brief explanation of the parking attendant service when vehicles arrive + Issuing claim checks to patients/visitors and properly identifying the vehicle and key information + Safely parking and retrieving patient vehicles in designated VA parking areas + Securing all parked vehicles by ensuring doors, windows, sunroofs, and other openings are closed and locked + Properly securing vehicle keys in the designated key control area or locking key cabinet + Ensuring the parking attendant booth/key control area is monitored and never left unattended + Managing traffic flow during high-volume periods and helping reduce delays at the front entrance + Operating shuttle carts safely and continuously during normal business hours, when assigned + Transporting veterans, patients, caregivers, and visitors between parking lots and VA buildings + Following all safety procedures while operating vehicles and shuttle carts + Assisting with wheelchair delivery to patient vehicles when requested, without providing clinical or medical care + Notifying VA Police, VA Rapid Response, or emergency personnel if a patient requires medical assistance or complex physical help + Keeping the work area clean, organized, and professional at all times + Reporting vehicle damage, lost keys, safety concerns, incidents, or emergencies immediately to the supervisor and appropriate VA personnel + Supporting daily logs, claim ticket records, key custody records, and vehicle activity documentation •Available shifts:•

  • 1st Shift (Day) and Weekends
  • Job requirements:
  • + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + 1-2 years minimum Valet or equivalent experience + Clean Driving Record + Maintaining professional appearance and wearing the required uniform and name tag during all work hours + Strictly following the VA's No Tipping policy + Background check and Drug Screening Required
