Job Description
Automotive Dealership Lot Porter We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated Automotive Lot Porter to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient vehicle lot while supporting dealership operations through the transportation, staging, and receiving of new and used vehicles. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining dealership presentation standards. Key Responsibilities Maintain organization and appearance of the dealership lot, showroom, and vehicle display areas Receive incoming new and used vehicles from manufacturers, transport carriers, auctions, and customer trade-ins Inspect vehicles upon arrival for damage, missing accessories, or discrepancies and report findings promptly Move, park, and arrange vehicles efficiently to maximize lot organization and presentation Ensure vehicles are properly tagged, stocked, fueled, and ready for display or delivery Assist sales and service departments with vehicle transportation and preparation Keep inventory organized and assist with tracking vehicle locations Maintain cleanliness of lot areas, parking spaces, and vehicle inventory Support dealership events, promotions, and seasonal lot setups as needed Follow all dealership safety procedures and traffic guidelines while operating vehicles Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and dedicated work ethic Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong teamwork and communication skills Previous dealership or automotive experience is a plus, but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move frequently throughout the day Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Ability to work extended periods outdoors What We're Looking For We value individuals who are: Detail-oriented and organized Self-motivated and dependable Able to multitask in a high-volume environment Committed to maintaining dealership standards and customer satisfaction Team players with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Additional Employment Information Pre-employment drug screening and background check are required.
