CONTINGENT UPON AWARD
Summary:
The Supervisor provides on-site leadership and oversight for all parking attendant and shuttle operations supporting Veterans Affairs facilities. This role ensures compliance with contract requirements, staffing adequacy, safety procedures, and customer service standards. The Supervisor serves as the primary escalation point for incidents, coordinates with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and ensures efficient traffic flow and service delivery. This position is critical to maintaining safe, timely, and Veteran-focused services.•Current driving record is required•
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide on-site supervision and ensure adequate staffing levels Manage traffic flow and parking operations during peak hours Ensure compliance with performance standards (vehicle wait and retrieval times) Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and emergencies Coordinate reporting, chain-of-custody for keys, and end-of-day processes Interface with COR and VA staff for operational coordination Ensure enforcement of "No Tipping" policy and service quality standards Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities):
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
License:
Valid North Carolina driver's license
Experience:
Knowledge of safety and traffic management practices
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in parking, transportation, or customer service operations

Demonstrated experience managing staff and operations

Knowledge of safety and traffic management practices U.S. citizen Valid driver's license (North Carolina) Completion of VA orientation and training prior to start Customer service training (communication, professionalism, safety) Compliance with VA identity verification and credentialing requirements Standing and walking for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in varying weather Ability to lift equipment (e.g., cones, wheelchairs) Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
