Building Service Attendant

Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas of the facility Conduct detailed floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine appearance Carry out industrial cleaning procedures for specialized equipment and high-traffic zones to ensure safety standards are met Assist with custodial responsibilities related to commercial and residential spaces, including light repairs and minor maintenance tasks Support facilities maintenance by inspecting and reporting on building conditions, including plumbing, lighting, and structural issues Use appropriate cleaning tools and chemicals safely while adhering to health and safety regulations Provide porter services such as moving supplies, furniture, or equipment to facilitate smooth daily operations Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, residential, or industrial settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and custodial equipment operation Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling as needed Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices such as basic repairs or troubleshooting common issues Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and safety standards Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance concerns effectively Prior experience with industrial cleaning or porter duties is preferred but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication keeps our environment spotless and inviting.
