Valet Attendant FT/PT Open Availability

DRIVER- Valet Parking Attendant - to work in Verona, NY. We have openings for staff with somewhat open availability to work FT or PT. We are expanding our team with the opening of the Crescent Hotel at Turning Stone, and are seeking staff for day shift, night shifts, and overnights. Weekends will be a requirement. The hours will vary, please be specific on your application about what hours you can work. Fun outdoor working environment. Base pay for evening staff is $16/hour, and valets typically earn more than $5-8/hour in tips. Average combined earnings can exceed $21-24/hour. Both written and verbal communication. Duties and responsibilities To maintain a professional image for our client establishment To assist any and all patrons in any way we can To park their vehicle in a safe manner, ensuring its safety at all times To run back to the valet station as quickly as possible, ensuring that customers will not have to wait for service To get along well with their coworkers and enjoy their job Physical Demands Standing for the duration of your shift Running up 25 times per shift or more Entering and exiting customers' vehicles 25 or more times daily Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers' vehicles) Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers Work environment - Outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employees' work environment. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather and all employees will be required to attend their scheduled shifts, and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions. We are seeking both full-time and part-time staff. Applicants with a background in customer service, hospitality, retail, transportation, and security often make a good fit for this position.
