Position:
A LAZ Valet Attendant embodies the heart and soul of our hospitality division. As the first and last impression for our clients and customers, a warm welcome, a smiling face, and a professional demeanor are of the utmost importance. With a keen sense of attentiveness, top-notch customer service focused on exceeding customer expectations and adherence to LAZ procedures, you help create a seamless and memorable experience. What does a day in the life of a LAZ Valet Attendant look like? People Greet all guests by name, attend to their needs, and build a rapport with each person driving up to your stand. Provide each customer with a valet ticket and explain the retrieval process. Open and close doors for every customer upon arrival and departure. Assist guests with luggage from vehicle to vehicle as necessary. Promote exceptional customer relations. Smile, go above and beyond, and make them love LAZ Parking from the moment they meet you. Parking Turn off each car's engine, remove the keys, and secure them properly. Ensure key security by adhering to our established procedures. Accurately fill out the valet ticket upon arrival, ensuring all necessary information is recorded precisely. Park and retrieve cars like a champ—carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Help direct traffic to maintain a clean and organized flow of cars, always with a smile on your face! Verify payment prior to releasing the vehicle to the customer. What would we like you to bring to the team? Demonstrated customer service experience with measurable performance outcomes. A valid driver's license with 2+ years of driving experience. Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language. Openness to feedback, differing opinions, and other points of view. Demonstrates a sense of attentiveness and initiative.
Physical Demands:
Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50lbs. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.
