Job Description

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is looking for customer service driven individuals to join our growing team! Through employment with Goodwill, you'll support our mission of helping people improve their quality of life through work and related services. Join the Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania team and celebrate 100 years of service in 2019! The Donation Door Attendant is an independent job, focused on providing outstanding service to donors of Goodwill. They will also be responsible for processing donated merchandise, quality control, and the cleanliness of their building in order to maximize the mission impact at Goodwill in their local communities. The Donation Door Attendant will be responsible for the security of the building. Open availability for morning, afternoon, or evening shifts, including weekdays, holidays, and weekends is required.

Regular, Full-time, Hourly.
Location:
Peters Township Goodwill Store - 3492 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317
External Hiring Range:
$14 - $15.
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours a week, shift dependent on store needs.
Travel:
None. Duties will also include but are not limited to: Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. Track donation according to standardized guidelines. Ensure packaging for shipment is properly secured and labeled. Pre-sort donations for processing by established categories. Direct and position receptacles, such as bins, carts, or containers so they can be loaded, including trash receptacles. Maintain a safe work environment by cleaning, mopping/sweeping, taking out trash, de-cluttering, reorganizing, etc to ensure the Donation Express Center (DEC) is free from debris, trash, dirt, etc. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience with the public, stock or materials handling experience preferred. Willing and able to work as door attendant specifically.
