  • Full-time Central Houston Cadillac is hiring for a Service Porter position to service our dealership in Houston, Texas.
Job Summary:
Service Porters move and clean vehicles, keep the vehicles in sound working condition, and helps management as requested. Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles and replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles and replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed. Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles. Keeps new
  • and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Sweeps, shovels or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes containers from work areas. Inspects parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations. Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed. Makes key tags for vehicles. Other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to carry out detailed written, oral, or diagramed instructions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. E ducation and
Experience:
Valid driver's license. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Bi-lingual Spanish speaker is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs. Good hand-eye coordination. Prolonged periods of standing. Frequent reaching, bending, squatting, pulling and lifting. Supervisory Responsibilities
