Job Description
The Valet Attendant at Texican Court Hotel will be present at the hotel entrance. The attendants will be responsible for greeting and escorting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles, and managing payment for services. The Valet Attendant will exhibit the values and core service standards instituted at Texican Court.
Shift requirements:
Looking for flexibility with morning or evening shifts.
Duties:
Be aware of events and meetings on property Review arrivals and any parking needs Review resumes for any parking or shuttle needs Greet guests at their vehicle as they pull up to the front drive Direct guests to appropriate venues and meeting spaces Accurately fill out valet parking ticket Keep valet parked keys organized Maintain cleanliness in the front drive and parking lot areas Ensure all valet parked cars are logged into valet log Lock all keys in the front desk key cabinet at the end of each shift Reconcile billing at the start of each day Assist with any deliveries (in house and external) as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilizing the Valencia Hotel Group Core Standards with every guest interaction Practice all safety standards and guidelines set forth by Texican Court Attend department and hotel meetings as scheduled Familiarize and practice Texican Court Values and Virtues Keep valet stand and supplies clean and organized Have a workable knowledge of amenities in the area and how to get there Drive guests in the hotel shuttle to their required destination within 3 miles of Texican Court Obey all traffic laws and treat hotel and customer property with caution Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by management Physical abilities:
Standing/Walking/Running :
Constantly. Standing post on front drive. Running to retrieve vehicles. Crouching (Bend at knees): Occasionally. Clean; stock supplies Stooping (Bend at waist) : Occasionally. Twisting (knees, waist, and neck) :
Primarily Outdoors. Will be exposed to elements of heat, cold, precipitation All interior areas of the hotel High guest volume situations Driving manual/ automatic transmission vehicles Driving EV vehicles (Tesla, Honda, etc.) Driving oversize and customized vehicles
