The Lot Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining an organized and efficient vehicle lot operations. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The primary responsibilities include keeping the lot clean and well-organized, managing inventory, and assisting in the coordination of vehicle movements.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness:
Regularly clean and maintain the vehicle lot, including removing debris, and trash. Keep the lot properly organized and ensure vehicles are neatly parked. 2.
Inventory management:
Keep a detailed record of all vehicles in the lot, noting their location, condition, and availability. Assist with conducting regular inventories to ensure accuracy. 3.
Vehicle movement:
Assist in moving vehicles to and from the sales lot, as directed by managers. This includes coordinating with sales and service departments to ensure timely and efficient vehicle transfers. 4.
Lot organization:
Ensure the lot is organized to facilitate easy access to vehicles and optimize available space. Properly label vehicles, maintain accurate spacing between vehicles, and assist in arranging display areas. 5.
Vehicle inspections:
Conduct regular inspections of vehicles on the lot to ensure they are in good condition, report any damages or maintenance required to the appropriate department. 6.
Customer assistance:
Provide information and assistance to customers visiting the lot, directing them to desired vehicles, answering questions, and ensuring their experience is positive. 7.
Lot security:
Monitor the vehicle lot for any suspicious activities, report any security concerns promptly. 8.
Maintenance support:
Assist maintenance personnel with organizing and staging vehicles for repairs, recalls, and maintenance services.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service, lot management, or related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Working Conditions:
The Lot Attendant position typically requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. This job may involve physical tasks like lifting and moving vehicles within the lot. The candidate should be able to work on their feet for extended periods and be comfortable with regular outdoor activities.
