Job Description
Wohali Golf Course, located in Coalville, UT , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Bag Drop/Valet ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Displays a professional appearance and attitude; remains courteous to members and guests at all times. Safely valet member and guest vehicles as needed. Brings golf carts from cart shelter to cart staging area, checks golf carts for tire pressure, brake operation, and other safety considerations. Loads/unloads bags from the vehicle onto golf carts. Transports range balls to each end of the range and fills appropriate containers. Maintains proper appearance and supply levels for all practice areas. Services golfers while practicing. Anticipates and complies with members' and guests' needs while using the learning center and monitoring the first tee, as needed. Returns golf carts to cart shelter; removes towels, pencils, scorecards, tees, drink cans, etc., from golf carts and saves reusable items; checks carts for damage; washes golf cart with pressure cleaner; parks cart in shelter and connects charger cable. Advises the Pro Shop of items found on the course and destined for the lost and found. Maintains the security, cleanliness, and order of all golf equipment in storage. Tows carts to the cart maintenance facility when carts break down, assisting in maintenance and repair when necessary. Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned (golf shop coverage & assistance). Previous golf course experience preferred Previous valet and/or caddie experience preferred. Valid driver's license. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Able to meet and perform physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position. Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling. Frequent repetitive motions. Continuous standing and walking.
