TEMPORARY ON-DEMAND POSITION
Hourly Rate:

: Under general supervision, provides friendly and reliable Full-Service Customer Care Attendant to provide excellent customer service by fueling vehicles and performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, interacting with customers, and maintaining a safe and clean service area.MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Promptly greets all customers in a friendly and helpful manner and seeks to identify opportunities to improve customer service at each encounter. Collect payments, process transactions, and issue receipts. Pump gasoline and diesel fuel safely and accurately. Check and top off vehicle fluids (oil, windshield washer fluid, coolant, etc.). Clean windshields, windows, and headlights. Maintaining cleanliness of the gas pumps, including pump islands, parking areas, removing trash. Follow all safety procedures and fuel-handling regulations. Maintain awareness of potential hazards and report concerns immediately. Ensure shelves are fully stocked, pricing is accurate, and displays meet presentation standards Assist customers with general questions or basic vehicle needs. Because of the MDC's commitment to community service and the well being of its members, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION
(required and preferred) : Six (6) months of customer service experience.SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION
: Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus: Strong cash handling and transaction accuracy skills Must be familiar with POS systems Strong understanding of vehicle motor components Committed to following safety procedures and regulations Maintains a strong focus on customer service and safety Adheres to all safety guidelines and fuel-handling protocolsSimilar jobs in Auburn, WA
