Van Rider

The Van Rider plays an essential role in supporting the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from STARS Academy. This position works closely with the van driver to ensure patients are transported safely, comfortably, and in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the safe transportation of patients to and from STARS Academy. Ensure patients are comfortable and their needs are appropriately addressed during transport. Maintain and update transportation manifests, including client lists, addresses, phone numbers, pickup authorizations, and other required information. Complete vehicle safety checklists with the driver each morning and afternoon. Complete all required transportation paperwork accurately and on time. Follow all transportation protocols for patient arrival, loading, transport, unloading, and departure. Participate in required training programs and maintain compliance with company standards. Perform other duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and committed to patient safety.

This is a split-shift position:

Morning Shift:

5:45 AM - 8:45

AM Afternoon Shift:

1:15 PM - 5:00 PM STARS Academy is committed to providing safe, reliable transportation and exceptional care for every patient we serve.
