We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Part-Time Class C Auction Driver in Fontana, CA. This position is ideal for retirees, students, or anyone seeking consistent extra income with a set weekly schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of vehicles (cars, trucks, SUVs) during live sale day events, ensuring safe movement and staging of inventory on auction property.
Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities Operate and move vehicles safely to, from, and within the auto facility property. Drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes during sale days. Park and align vehicles in proper order as directed by supervisors. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition. Assist in moving inoperable vehicles when directed. Comply with all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company procedures at all times. Requirements Must be at least 18 years or older. Possess a valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations). Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Punctuality and strong adherence to scheduled work times are essential. Ability to operate various vehicles, including manual transmissions (a plus). Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and frequently enter and exit vehicles.
Schedule Primary Shift:
Every Thursday morning, typically from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM (approximately 4-5 hours). Opportunity for additional hours/shifts on other days, including weekends, may be available. Start times vary from 6:45am to 9:30am Monday -
Saturday Wage Range:
17.00 - 17.00 per hour
General Description of Benefits:
$17/HR Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit Medical / Vision / Dental Benefits 5 Paid Sick Days/ year after 90 days of employment $75 Referral Bonus
