In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and heavy equipment to transport materials, equipment, and goods efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, vehicle maintenance, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers with manual transmissions. Load and unload materials using mechanical knowledge of different truck types and lifting techniques. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations. Drive in accordance with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols to deliver goods on time across multiple locations. Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed during loading or unloading processes. Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and compliance documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate routes and resolve any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license. Mechanical knowledge of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently. Strong ability to load & unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques. Experience with heavy lifting tasks required for loading/unloading operations. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.
