Job Description
Position Summary The Shuttle Bus Driver is responsible for providing safe, courteous, and efficient transportation services for hotel guests and associates. This position plays a key role in delivering the Hyatt House experience by ensuring timely transportation within the city limits of Yolo County , maintaining the shuttle vehicle in top condition, and offering friendly assistance to all passengers. Key Responsibilities Safely operate the hotel shuttle vehicle to transport guests to and from designated locations within the city limits of Yolo County . Provide a friendly and professional greeting to all guests; assist with luggage and offer information about local attractions, dining, and events. Maintain a clean, well-fueled, and well-maintained vehicle at all times; promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and hotel policies. Track shuttle runs, mileage, and passenger counts as required. Communicate effectively with the Front Desk and other departments to coordinate guest transportation needs. Support guest service operations by assisting with other tasks during periods of low shuttle demand. Ensure compliance with all company safety and vehicle operation policies. Qualifications Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. Must be at least 21 years of age (per insurance requirements). Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or professional driving preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of Davis and Yolo County streets and landmarks is a plus. Physical Requirements Frequent sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and walking. Ability to operate a vehicle safely for extended periods.
