Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Community Driver to serve our local community by providing safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong driving background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles including shuttle buses, limousines, and paratransit vehicles. As a Community Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring community members reach their destinations comfortably and on time while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Duties Operation of the community shuttle buses to transport community members safely and efficiently. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing exceptional customer service and support as needed. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety compliance. Load and unload heavy luggage or equipment with proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during daily operations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of vehicles inside and out, ensuring a professional appearance at all times. Qualifications Class B License with Passenger Endorsement Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse community members. Experience handling heavy lifting tasks safely during loading or unloading processes. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures to identify issues early and ensure safety standards are met. Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or maps while maintaining punctuality. Prior experience in customer service roles is highly desirable; patience and a friendly demeanor are essential. Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
