JOB SUMMARY
We are currently looking for a Full-Time Driver with a Class C license to join our team at Villa Marin. The Class C driver will perform a variety of transportation duties at our facility and the surrounding area. This position will include operation of company vehicles, and other transportation related duties.SCHEDULE
Full-Time, 40 hours per week MondayFriday:
8:00am- 4:30pm Shifts will also include some early morning start times or possibly some late evenings & holidays as needed
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Transports residents on various trips, medical visits, and errands according to facility procedures; may work closely with nursing personnel as instructed Schedule transports for personal trips such as private doctor's appointments, dentists, and personal needs Assists passengers in always entering and leaving the vehicle; will arrange for safety and comfort of passengers Delivers packages, materials, and performs a variety of pick-up and delivery tasks and miscellaneous errands for Villa Marin Performs regular minor maintenance and service on facility vehicles such as checking to ensure that vehicles are in working order, checking, and refilling fuel, oil, water and washing company busses Reports maintenance repairs and accidents to Director Of Transportation Maintain simple records related to vehicle operations and schedules Maintains vehicle in a clean, neat, and orderly condition May assist Director of Activities with special projects and tasks Performs related and necessary work as required Tact and courtesy in dealing with elderly under sometimes trying conditions Patience and understanding of the aged, interpersonal skills to deal with residents and staff in a positive manner Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and/or possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks requiredREQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations. Must meet health assessment requirements as regulated by the California Department of Social Services. TB testing and fingerprint clearance required by Community Care Licensing through the State of California Department of Justice background check bureau. Must have a class C driver's license with passenger endorsement.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Rate of Pay- Starting at $21
