Shuttle Bus Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their designated locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Experience in shuttle driving, customer service and team participation is strongly preferred.

Duties Safety-Oriented:

A strong commitment to safe driving practices, with a deep understanding of vehicle operation and pre-trip inspections. Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing regular inspections and basic maintenance. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, especially those with special needs. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transport.

Customer Service:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with passengers, including tourists, in a friendly and professional manner. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly.

Adaptability:

The ability to drive safely in various weather conditions, particularly on mountain roads (e.g., snow, ice, steep grades).

Punctuality:

Strong time management skills to adhere to a strict schedule and ensure timely arrivals and departures.

Problem-Solving:

The ability to handle unexpected situations (e.g., traffic, road closures, passenger issues) calmly and effectively.

Physical Fitness:

The physical ability to perform duties such as lifting passenger luggage and conducting thorough vehicle inspections. Experience Previous professional driving experience, preferably in a commercial vehicle. Familiarity with general transportation services or bus driving is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle issues is beneficial. Ability to communicate effectively in English is essential for interacting with passengers and team members. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required . Must be at least 25 years of age. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and a DOT physical.
