Job Description

About Us:
San Juan Huts is a family business that was established in 1987. The huts started as backcountry ski huts. We now operate 16 huts throughout Southwest Colorado and Southeastern Utah. We have a great team of good people and better dogs. We are hard workers but enjoy a casual working environment.
About You:
A safe driver on both highway and 4x4 roads in 12 passenger van or large Suburban. Good with people. Able to hike the 4 night 5 day Sneffels Traverse early in the season. Able to lift heavy backpacks into vehicle and / or on rack.
About This Position:
Reliably pick up shuttle vehicle by 7AM at our shop in Ridgway; meet clients in Ouray; drive them to starting trailheads (usually Last Dollar Pass) on rough 4x4 roads. After the shuttle pack coolers with food, fill water jugs, and help out around the shop for a few hours. This shop part of the job can have flexible hours. If you are looking for more hours we could have some field days hiking to clean huts or driving to resupply remote bike huts.
Applicant Requirements:
Team Player Self sufficient Must have a valid driver's license (with clean driving record) Capable of safely driving 4x4 roads in all conditions Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Must be able to pass a drug test Must live no more than 35 min. drive from
Ridgway Additional Valuable Skills:
