Duties Safely operate school vans and buses, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Valid Drivers License Transport students to designated locations on time, ensuring punctuality and reliability Assist with boarding and disembarking students, providing support for children with special needs or mobility challenges Maintain a clean, organized vehicle interior and conduct routine mechanical checks to ensure optimal operation Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and children to coordinate schedules and address any concerns Manage behavior on the bus through positive behavior management techniques to promote a safe environment Complete all required documentation such as route logs, incident reports, and vehicle inspections accurately Must have DCF 45 Hours Experience Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse communities Experience working with children or in childcare settings demonstrating patience and understanding Knowledge of behavior management strategies suitable for young passengers Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively, ensuring student safety at all times Embark on this rewarding journey where your driving expertise meets your passion for working with children!
