We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Transportation Driver to join our childcare team. This position is responsible for safely transporting children to and from school, field trips, and summer camp activities while ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for every child. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, experience transporting children, and a commitment to safety and reliability. Responsibilities Safely transport children using an 8-passenger vehicle. Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and ensure the vehicle is properly maintained. Follow all state, local, and childcare transportation regulations. Maintain accurate transportation records as required. Ensure children are safely loaded, secured, supervised, and unloaded. Communicate any transportation concerns to the Center Director immediately. Assist with AM and PM transportation routes. Transport children on summer camp field trips and special outings. Support classroom staff as an Assistant Teacher or in other roles when transportation duties are complete. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience driving an 8-passenger van or similar vehicle. Experience transporting children preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Six months to one year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility strongly preferred. Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings.
