Have fun driving our shuttle trolley on the Live Oak Avenue and share the history of Wormsloe and the surrounding area to our visitors that come from around the world. Job duties/
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Greeting and orienting visitors to the historic site. Drivers must be willing to drive a tractor, in a safe, competent manner while entertaining guests by narrating a scripted historic tour. Must be able to board and exit a tractor and elevated hay wagon and assist visitors with boarding and exiting the equipment. Ability to learn and memorize scripted tours and driving route. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with fellow employees and visitors. Ability to sit for long periods of time and tolerate a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions. Preform daily safety inspections of equipment and report needed repairs.
Preferred Qualifications:
A passion for history, nature, and a strong customer service background Willingness to learn Enthusiasm to share your knowledge with others Must have a valid Driver's License with an acceptable and verifiable driving record
