Apply Bell Attendant/Shuttle Driver Des Moines, IA Apply Description Renaissance Des Moines Savery is currently seeking a remarkable individual for a Bell/Shuttle position at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. This candidate should demonstrate proficiency in multi-tasking with exceptional hospitality and guest service skills.

• Escort incoming guests to rooms.
• Assist guests with luggage.
• Inspect guest room to ensure that it is in order, and that supplies are adequate.
• Explain features of room such as operation of radio, television, in-room movie system, etc.
• Offer information pertaining to available hotel services, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
• Deliver messages and run errands.
• Transport guests in hotel van within property requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of both interior and exterior of van.
• Maintain all mileage records on a daily basis.
• Report all trips to front desk; length of drive as well as length of time spent.
• Keep record of calls for service.
• Deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks.
• Set up sample rooms.
• Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner. Requirements
• Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing, writing, typing.
• Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
• Must have a knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Must have a knowledge of mathematical and computer skills.
• High school education and relevant training and experience preferred.
• Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.
• CPR training required; first aid training preferred.
• Additional language ability preferred.
