Inventory cycle counts. Assist in processing cores returns. Daily shipments to customers. Assist loading and unloading drivers. Keep warehouse clean. Inspect incoming freight for damage and discrepancies. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, hand trucks etc. Abide by all safety rules. Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors. Check with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries. Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick up. Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery. Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Request recipient's signature on each delivery entry. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts, daily. Handle basic maintenance of the truck including filling the tank with gas, checking tire pressure, oil, trans fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze, and washing the vehicles. Advise parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance. Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department by organizing, cleaning, tagging and overstocking the downstairs bins shelves. Dust display area. Stack brake cores. Empty and haul trash out to the dumpster including the outside areas. Run bin counts. Maintains professional appearance. Control the receipt of parts inventory received at the dealership by comparing the parts inventory received to the packing slip provided and immediately resolve any discrepancies and input the parts received into the parts inventory system. Control the maintenance of an accurate parts inventory by inputting parts bin location information changes into the parts inventory system. Any and all other legal actions that are deemed appropriate by your supervisor.
