Escorts arriving and departing guests in a friendly, courteous manner to and from their accommodations, as requested. Drives guests to and from area businesses as required. This position would be best suited to someone who could meet the following requirements.: Self starter, able to work for long periods without direct supervision. Responsible for the cleanliness of public restrooms, hallways, lobby area and rooms. Offer maintenance and repairs to public areas and guestrooms. Execute special projects throughout the hotel. Carry out consistent preventive maintenance programs on rooms. Maintaining the property including trash, debris, and weeding. Responsible for cleanliness of floors, both tiled and carpeted Responsible for the weekly maintenance of housekeeping equipment, ie vacuum cleaners, floor cleaners, etc. Have a clean valid Driver's License. Assisting guests with luggage to their rooms, to lobby, or off and on hotel van. Explains and promotes hotel facilities and services. Provides guests with information, such as local attractions, events, and directions. Transport guest to and from terminal while demonstrating all common courtesies and obeying driving and traffic laws. Maintains guest privacy. Ensures property vehicles/vans are always clean and in top running conditions and report needed repairs immediately to hotel management. Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor. Set up/break down meeting rooms. Clean lobby and other duties directed by management. Perform other duties as assigned.
