Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic, personable, and caring Van Driver to join the Arcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from our facilities and their homes on a set schedule. You will also coordinate transportation for patients requiring referrals to locations outside our primary service area. The right candidate will be willing to learn about additional services available to Arcare patients and help answer general questions about these services as they arise in conversation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and is passionate about helping others. Essential Functions Statement(s) Ensure patient confidentiality and provides patients with needed information. Greets patients and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner. Participates in in-services and educational seminars. Maintains the Van in good running condition. Provides necessary reports to the administration on monthly or quarterly basis. Keeps an accurate record of daily scheduled van trips. Participates in the Center's Quality Improvement activities and performs duties in accordance with applicable standards. Maintains appropriate records for Arcare reporting. Performs all job duties in compliance with Arcare Safety and Infection Control policies.
