The Van Driver of Lauve's Pediatric Day Health Care bus is responsible for assisting and driving the bus on a non-emergency patient transport bus/van, transporting medically fragile children to and from the center. The job purpose is to maintain a caring environment for non-emergency patients and provide a transport service as appropriate for the needs of each patient.

Some Responsibilities include:

Lifting and moving patients under non-emergency conditions and making sure they are properly restrained in the vehicle according to Louisiana Chils Seat Law and NHTSA guidelines. Complete a vehicle check before every duty to include the working order of the vehicle. Ensure the health and safety guidelines are followed according to current policies and procedures.

Skills/Qualifications:

Must have Chauffer's license Ability to work as part of a team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay:

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
