NEMT Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers or goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. The Driver will operate various types of vehicles, including vans, buses, and limousines, depending on the needs of the organization. Duties Safely operate vehicles for the purpose of transporting passengers or goods to designated locations. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or packages as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and ensuring a pleasant travel experience. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any issues or delays encountered during trips. Requirements Proven experience as a Delivery Driver, Shuttle Driver, Van Driver, or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading cargo. Experience in bus driving or limousine services is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain schedules and meet deadlines. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
