Job Summary Join our team as a NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Van Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services to individuals with medical, senior care, or mobility needs. In this energetic role, you will operate specialized vans to transport clients to medical appointments, community programs, or other essential destinations. Your dedication will ensure passengers arrive comfortably and on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. Duties Safely operate NEMT vans and other commercial vehicles to transport clients to scheduled appointments or destinations Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and securing mobility aids or wheelchairs as needed Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness Communicate clearly with clients, dispatchers, and healthcare providers using effective English or multilingual skills Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and passenger details for compliance and reporting purposes Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating patience, compassion, and professionalism during each ride Requirements Chauffeur license Age 21+ with vaild driver's license Background check Drug screen Skills Proven experience in bus driving, commercial driving, or school bus driving with a clean driving record Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Knowledge of paratransit operations, behavior management techniques, and working with children or seniors is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism in childcare or senior care environments Excellent driving skills with attention to safety, punctuality, and route navigation expertise Writing skills for documentation purposes and clear communication with team members Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise meets compassionate service!
