Job Description
- $500 SIGN
ON BONUS
- We are looking for a part time 21+ hours per week and a Per Diem Van Driver to transport our clients for our Adult Day Health program in our Fall River location. The hourly rate range is $18
- $19 and the position is Monday through Friday split shift, 6:30
- 10:00 a.m. and 1:30
- 5:00 p.
Job Responsibilities:
Transport program participants according to established safety rules and road regulations, set by D.O.T. Secure and maintain all required safety equipment in the vehicle. Follow the Vehicle Maintenance Protocol and keep the Transportation Coordinator informed of all service needs. Report any problems or maintenance concerns to the Transportation Coordinator. Keep exterior and interior of vans clean and free of potentially hazardous materials. Assist at sites as needed. Maintain CPR and First Aid certification. Ensure that all passengers have secured seat belts at all times. Ensure wheelchairs are secure with tie downs at all times according to DOT regulations. Maintain a daily transportation log. Complete a Daily Pre and Post Trip Inspection Form. Will drive para van as needed to ensure transportation needs are meet. Ensure that the Daily Passenger Log is complete, signed and turned into theSite Education and Experience:
Experience with either elders or the disabled (ADH). Maintain a valid drivers license with good driving record/proven record of vehicle safety. Possess the ability to safely push, pull, load, and unload participants requiring wheelchairs. Possess the ability to work with others as part of a team and communicate effectively. Successfully pass a preemployment drug test in addition to being enrolled in a drug consortium for random testing. Complete and maintain CPR and First Aid certified. Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.- Must be able to successfully complete a MA State CORI check, CPS check and company paid, pre-employment physical, drug testing and be enrolled in our drug and alcohol testing consortium.
