Job Description

Join our wonderful Life Enrichment Team at Piper Shores! We are excited to welcome new opportunities to work at Piper Shores. Come grow with us! The Shuttle Driver is responsible for the timely and safe transportation of all residents and staff to and from our Oceanside Campus to the Meadows campus, about a one-mile distance. Our goal is to provide safe transit between our Oceanside campus and our brand-new Meadows campus to integrate our new community and promote a cleaner environment by eliminating the need for our residents to use their personal vehicles in order to enjoy amenities between campuses. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service who enjoys working the older adult community!
Shifts:
Full-time, Monday-Friday:
2:00p-9:30p
Essential Job Duties:
Picks up and delivers passengers daily to arrive and depart on time between Oceanside and Meadows campus. Completes a safety check of the vehicle before transporting daily passengers. Accurately records vehicle mileage and passenger number attendance for all scheduled transportation. Maintains vehicle cleanliness inside and out. Ensures Piper Shores' vehicle tools, equipment and supplies are in proper working condition. Provide assistance for residents to safely enter and exit bus. Notifies supervisor of necessary vehicle repairs and/or malfunctions. Notifies supervisor of passenger concerns, problems, or incidents immediately. Performs miscellaneous trips for Administration as necessary. Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. Performs other work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
