Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. Ricks AMT has been servicing Michigan for over 20 years and now we are launching a wheelchair fleet. Company vehicle will be provided to you. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting our clients to designated medical appointments while providing exceptional customer service & compassionate care. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. You must be physically able to push wheelchair clientele. Responsibilities Safely operate wheelchair vans & ramps. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring the safety of passengers. Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing regular inspections and basic maintenance. Communicate effectively clients and dispatch office with schedules, routes, and any changes. Assist passengers with loading and unloading, ensuring their comfort and safety. Skills Experience in NEMT driving, bus driving, shuttle driving, or school bus driving is preferred. Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all passengers. Proven ability to maintain composure in challenging situations while prioritizing safety. A valid chauffer's driver's license.
