Shuttle Van Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Driver to join our Hampton team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from designated locations in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and staff. The Shuttle Driver will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for all riders. Hours may very from month to month. Most will occur in two hour blocks in the early morning (6-9am), early after noon (between 4-7pm) and late evening (after 10pm). Responsibilities Safely operate hotel shuttle van, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as handling luggage or other personal items as needed. Maintain a clean and organized shuttle vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules, delays, or any passenger concerns. Ensure the safety of all passengers by following established safety protocols and procedures during transit. Assist with heavy lifting when required, particularly when handling luggage or equipment for passengers. Experience Previous experience in school bus driving, shuttle driving, limousine services, or commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is advantageous for efficient navigation. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with passengers and coordinating with team members. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; additional certifications related to bus or commercial driving are a plus. Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks as necessary while maintaining a focus on safety and passenger comfort.
