Job Description

Busy courier service based in Fairfield, NJ is seeking a reliable and experienced Class D Van Driver to handle daily route deliveries throughout the tri-state area and surrounding regions. Core hours are 5:30am-1:30pm.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety and punctuality. This role requires regular long-distance driving, flexibility for occasional overtime, and the ability to confidently navigate high-traffic areas in NYC's five boroughs.
Compensation:
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Load, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules Maintain accurate delivery manifests and proof of delivery (POD) documentation Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance Adhere to all company policies and traffic laws
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous route driving or delivery experience preferred Strong ability to drive safely and efficiently over long distances Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team High attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.50 per hour
