Shuttle Driver

Overview Join our Ellicott Hotel team as a Shuttle Driver for our Comfort Inn hotel, where you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient transportation for our valued customers! The shifts will be from Friday, Saturday and Sundays from 11pm-7am. You'll be the friendly face that ensures passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on time. • Responsible for shuttling all customers from long term parking, base, and Comfort Inn to the airport and vice versa.
• Must pick up customers from multiple locations. This includes Parking, Comfort Inn Hotel, and Comfort Inn parking. Also take note of which airline will be flying in and using our hotel.
• Engage in customer contact at all times. By maintaining a friendly relationship with customers and engaging in conversation, this will leave a lasting impression on all guests.
• Must offer and assist customers with bags upon entry into the shuttle. When customers disembark the shuttle, for those customers who have accepted assistance, must carry bags off the shuttle and/or off the shuttle onto sidewalk.
• Responsible for transporting those flight crews (if and when we acquire crews) to and from the airport and the Comfort Inn Hotel. As long as The Comfort Inn Hotel is under contract with an airline shuttle drivers must factor in flight crew pick up and drop off into their daily schedules or as necessary.
• Assist with snow removal from vehicle as necessary. Any other duties as assigned
• Maintain exterior walkways and parking lot
• Maintain public spaces of hotel, not limited to: lobby, pool fitness center, restrooms, elevators entrances etc. Qualifications
• Clean driving record
• NYS driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50LBS
• Ability to work in inclement weather
• Will be required to perform diverse physical tasks. Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions while assisting customers with luggage. Must be able to be in a sitting position for more than 2 hour stretches. Good physical energy, stamina, and agility.
• Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timeliness, urgency, and common sense.
• Pay is $16 an hour plus tips!
